Huis Tekna se Stimulasieprogram: Bou aan Heelheid, Groei en Toekomsgerigte Ontwikkeling

By Huis Tekna is ons toewyding daaraan om elke kind wat by ons geplaas word, die geleentheid te bied om emosionele veiligheid, ontwikkeling en ’n positiewe toekoms te ervaar. Ons stimulasieprogram speel ’n sleutelrol in die verwerking van trauma en die bevordering van gesonde ontwikkeling. Ons doel is om selfstandige, gebalanseerde individue te kweek wat eendag ’n waardevolle bydrae tot hul gemeenskappe kan lewer.
’n Belangrike komponent van hierdie proses is ons bindingsprogram, waardeur kinders ondersteun word om empatie, gesonde emosionele verhoudinge en konstruktiewe sosiale vaardighede te ontwikkel.

Omvattende Ontwikkelings- en Ondersteuningsprogramme
Elke kind ontvang individuele en groepsessies wat aangepas is volgens hul ouderdom en vermoëns. Babas word maandeliks geëvalueer en kinders elke ses maande om hul vordering te meet en nuwe doelwitte te formuleer. Hierdie doelwitte word geïntegreer in hul persoonlike ontwikkelingsplanne, wat gereeld hersien en bygewerk word.
Ons ondersteun ook akademiese groei deur te help met huiswerk, skooltake en addisionele studie waar dit nodig is. Skoolrapporte word saam met die kind bespreek, waarna doelgerigte akademiese ondersteuning gebied word om leeruitdagings aan te spreek.

Ontwikkeling van Lewensvaardighede en Selfstandigheid
Die bemeestering van ontwikkelingsmylpale is noodsaaklik vir ’n gesonde selfbeeld en selfkonsep. Daarom leer ons kinders praktiese vaardighede en basiese take in en om die huis om onafhanklikheid en selfdissipline te bevorder. Daar word doelbewus gewerk aan die ontwikkeling van positiewe karaktereienskappe soos omgee, deel, empatie en samewerking.

Ondersteuning van Beeld Kinderfonds
Huis Tekna dien jaarliks aansoek in by die Beeld Kinderfonds vir finansiële ondersteuning om ons stimulasieprogramme volhoubaar aan te bied. In Maart 2025 het Beeld Kinderfonds ’n bedrag van R109 500 aan Huis Tekna geskenk vir die uitvoering van die jaarlikse stimulasieprogram.
As deel van hierdie vennootskap neem Huis Tekna deel aan Beeld Kinderfonds se fondsinsamelingsinisiatiewe. Gedurende 2025 het ons weereens met trots aan hul wynverkoopprojek deelgeneem en dit suksesvol voltooi.
Die voortdurende fondsinsamelingswerk van Beeld Kinderfonds maak dit moontlik om organisasies soos ons te ondersteun. Hul bydrae verbeter ons kapasiteit om professionele, kwaliteit dienste aan ons kinders te bied en om die nodige materiaal en toerusting vir die stimulasieprogram aan te skaf.

Home Tekna’s Stimulation Programme: Building Wholeness, Growth and Future-Focused Development

At Home Tekna, we are committed to providing every child in our care with the opportunity to experience emotional safety, healthy development and a positive future. Our stimulation programme plays a vital role in helping children process trauma and promoting balanced, holistic development. Our aim is to nurture independent and well-adjusted individuals who can one day make meaningful contributions to their communities.
An important component of this process is our bonding programme, through which children are guided to develop empathy, healthy emotional relationships and constructive social skills.

Comprehensive Development and Support Programmes
Each child receives individual and group sessions tailored to their age and abilities. Babies are assessed monthly, while older children are evaluated every six months to monitor progress and set new goals. These goals form part of each child’s personalised development plan, which is reviewed and updated regularly.
We also support academic growth by assisting with homework, school projects and additional study where needed. School reports are discussed with each child, after which targeted academic support is provided to address learning challenges.

Developing Life Skills and Independence
Mastering developmental milestones is essential for building a healthy self-image and self-concept. For this reason, we teach children practical skills and basic household tasks to foster independence and self-discipline. We also focus intentionally on cultivating positive character traits such as kindness, sharing, empathy and cooperation.

Support from the Beeld Kinderfonds
Each year, Home Tekna applies to the Beeld Kinderfonds for financial support to sustain our stimulation programmes. In March 2025, the Beeld Kinderfonds generously donated R109 500 towards the implementation of our annual stimulation programme.
As part of this partnership, Home Tekna participates in the fundraising initiatives organised by the Beeld Kinderfonds. During 2025, we once again proudly took part in their wine sales project, which we completed successfully.
The ongoing fundraising efforts of the Beeld Kinderfonds enable them to support organisations like ours. Their contribution enhances our ability to deliver professional, high-quality services to our children and to acquire the essential materials and equipment needed for the stimulation programme.
